Well, it's not quite our typical hands-on video, but I do put my hands on the device through a piece of glass. It'll have to do for now. Leaving the keynote session at BlackBerry DevCon, RIM had the BlackBerry PlayBook displays for onlookers to drool over. Check out the video above for a quick look at it.

Amazon to launch Kindle App for new BlackBerry PlayBook
The BlackBerry PlayBook is just out the gates and already, many folks are laying out there plans to bring applications to the device. One of the first, with a press release is Amazon. Kindle services will be brought to the BlackBerry Playbook and I'm sure this is just the beginning of developers who will be stepping up. As the press release states:

Ingram's late TD lifts No. 1 Tide to 24-20 win
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Trailing on the road against one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, No. 1 Alabama escaped by doing what it does best: making big plays on defense and giving the ball to Mark Ingram.
The Heisman Trophy winner ran for 157 yards and scored on a 1-yard run with 3:18 to play, and two first-year starters in the 'Bama secondary made late interceptions to help the top-ranked Crimson Tide rally from a 13-point deficit and beat No. 10 Arkansas 24-20 on Saturday.

At Virgin Mobile FreeFest, the dust doesn't even have time to settle before it's time to move on.
Just as Texan band Neon Indian finished their set in the dance tent, Joan Jett was getting on stage at the main pavilion. At night, rapper M.I.A. went head-to-head with dance gods LCD Soundsystem.
With 21 artists playing at this one-day event, there was more shuttling here than in Middle East diplomacy if you wanted to catch them all.
